Nightide Festival takes an integrated approach to sustainability, embedding responsible practice into how the event is planned, delivered and resourced — not as an add-on, but as core to how we operate. We see sustainability as a continuous improvement process, and we're committed to building on these practices every season.

Respecting culture & heritage

We acknowledge that Geelong and the Bellarine is Wadawurrung Country. We acknowledge the Wadawurrung People as the Traditional Owners of the land, waterways, and skies, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in our business and greater community today.

Accreditation

Nightide holds Sustainable Tourism Accreditation.

Local purchasing & employment

Nightide prioritises local suppliers across its major categories — beverage, logistics and safety management — with local businesses engaged wherever possible. We've grown the number of local suppliers we work with and expanded locally employed staff hours, supporting jobs and trade in the local community during the festival period.
